Summary of ATHENA national autonomy analyses available online

Interim findings of the ATHENA project analysis of the state of university autonomy in Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine can be consulted online. These analytical slides were presented to delegates at the three ATHENA country workshops, and outline the performance of each system with respect to the four dimensions of autonomy addressed in EUA’s autonomy scorecard methodology. The slides also show these systems’ rankings in a Europe-wide context.

This analysis will be further developed and explained in the national Policy Roadmaps, which will also highlight the steps required to bring about greater university autonomy.
